Physical realization of quantum bits is fraught with many sources of qubit instability: TLS (Two-Level systems) defects [1], nuclear and thermal environmental noise [2], random charge fluctuation [3], fabrication defects, and valley splitting [4]. In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of instrumentation development and its potential application to aiding our understanding of qubit platforms.
